Diana Ham, originally from Mexico City, a self-taught artist since 2004, has held various private and collective exhibitions.
This multifaceted artist was a former artist from the world-renowned company “Cirque du Soleil”, as a solo acrobat in the show “LUZIA” period when on her free time, she captured memories of her travels around the world with the circus and the people and images that impacted her life, transforming them into magical characters and animated utopias in canvas and paper.
She was nominated by FORBES magazine as one of the 100 most powerful women in Mexico in June 2018, for following her passion and inspiring others.
In pandemic time Diana decided to dedicated her entire time to create art, since then she started as an emergent full time artist in México.
She is currently developing multifaceted projects such as hyper-realistic scenes, surreal work and also conceptual art, among them “DOORS OF THE SOUL” in where she compiles with oil painting in a hyper-realistic technique, the left eyes of all the people who are impacting her world, people that make a difference in this planet and also enthusiastic who want to collaborate on her unique bank of souls. So far it has recreated more than 50 unique images out of 333 that will be immortalized after the completion of this project.
Social and personal catharsis, myths, urban legends, ancient knowledge, mysticism, scenes from the unconscious but also simple every day moments, all with touches of black humor, pinch of darkness, exuberant colors and hyper-realistic technique captures her creation.
Simple objects, human figure and nature expressed with perfect shape, shine and technique is the Diana’s day by day.
